This Isn’t a Collection. It’s a Journal - stones with stories too personal to mass-produce.
We’re not in the business of just selling gemstones.
We’re in the habit of remembering them.
Every piece we hold — whether it’s an orbicular ocean jasper, a blue kyanite blade, or a warm pink tourmaline — doesn’t start as part of a product line.
This isn’t a “collection” in the conventional sense.
This is a journal — one you’ll eventually write into too.
Ocean Jasper Orbicular: A Pattern the Earth Drew Itself
Ocean jasper is a rare stone found only on the remote coasts of Madagascar — and its orbicular patterns (those circular marks that look like waves frozen in time) are completely natural. No two are ever the same.
When you see an ocean jasper stone in person, it doesn’t just look earthy — it feels alive. The colors range from moss green to peach to milky cream, like someone bottled the coast at sunrise. We love it not just for its calming energy, but for its quiet unpredictability.
Ocean Jasper teaches us to embrace the imperfect. That’s why it shows up so often in our slow-cut trays — soft, strange, soulful.
Blue Kyanite Crystals: For When You’re Out of Alignment
We’ve worked with a lot of high-vibration stones, but blue kyanite is something else. It’s sharp-looking, but calming in presence. Like someone who’s honest without being harsh.
Blue kyanite crystals are often used to align chakras — especially the throat and third eye — and are known for not needing energetic cleansing. That alone makes them rare. You can carry a kyanite gemstone in your pocket or wear it in jewelry, and it does its job quietly, without asking anything back.
When we cut kyanite, we follow its natural vertical grain. It almost guides the blade on its own.
Pink Tourmaline Gemstone: The Kindest Shade of Strong
We always say: the people who choose pink tourmaline are usually healing something — or helping someone else heal. There’s something soft but grounded about this stone. Not fragile, not flaky — just honest.
Every pink tourmaline gemstone we cut, we do with care. Because we’ve seen it go into pieces that mark turning points — birthdays after a loss, a final chemo session, the start of something new. It’s the kind of gem that makes people stop and ask, “What’s the story behind this?
Also In Our Journal
We don’t feature every stone in a full entry, but here are a few others always close by:
- Natural garnet stone – Deep reds and earthy oranges, grounding and timeless. Garnet is an anchor.
-
Citrine jewelry – Light in stone form. Our citrine is naturally sourced (never heat-treated amethyst), and always warm, never harsh.
This Journal Is Ongoing
When you hold a stone from SilverSmith, you’re not just buying a material. You’re choosing a chapter.
Some people write in it with rings. Some with pendants. Some with nothing more than presence.
But all of it matters.
Because the stones remember!!
