Pink Opal

Pink opal is predominantly found in Peru, Australia, and Mexico. Peruvian pink opal is particularly prized for its color and quality. Ranges from soft, pastel pink to vibrant, deeper shades of pink. Typically opaque but can have some translucency. Believed to soothe the heart, promote peace and tranquility, and encourage emotional healing. Store separately from harder gemstones to prevent scratches. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Generally around 5.5 to 6, making it suitable for various types of jewelry but requiring care to avoid scratches.
