Collection: Obsidian

Obsidian is a fascinating volcanic glass that forms when molten lava cools rapidly. It is known for its glassy luster and can come in various colors, although black is the most common. Store separately to prevent scratches, as it can be easily scratched by harder materials. Believed to have protective properties and is often used in crystal healing practices. Clean with mild soap and water, avoiding harsh chemicals. Primarily black, but can also be brown, green, or even have a rainbow-like sheen (rainbow obsidian) or gold/silver sheen (sheen obsidian). About 5-5.5 on the Mohs scale.
