Chalcedony

Composed mainly of quartz and moganite, two forms of silica. Comes in a wide range of colors, including white, gray, blue, green, and more. Common varieties include agate, carnelian, onyx, and jasper. Chalcedony has a distinctive waxy luster, which gives it a soft, glowing appearance. Chalcedony can be semi-transparent, allowing some light to pass through, or fully opaque. The crystals in chalcedony are so fine that they are not visible to the naked eye, giving it a smooth texture. Chalcedony breaks with a smooth, curved surface, often resembling the shape of a seashell.
